Camera included
Snap kit fitting the True Hybrid (six inch rear arms) variant of the FlightClub Neutron-R, sporting a moderate fifty-five degree fixed camera angle. A heavily refined canopy, designed for one of the most evolved racing frames available. An attempt at iteration on ultimate performance, by Snap Aerial Silhouettes.
Features
Super-resolution, semi-flex TPU canopy construction, advanced material boasts a 580% elongation coefficient, 95A shore hardness rating, and peerless, opaquely reflective finish; less jello than nylon, and no cracking in cold weather.
Proven Bleeding Shell passively retractable camera mount, which lets the camera slide back into the protected area of the canopy during direct hits and hard crashes, tested for absolutely no unintended camera slippage.
Turtle mode without fin or stick, due to higher ground contact made possible by proprietary hull geometry.
Stainless steel internal threads for far greater aerodynamic efficacy than traditional exposed-hardware designs, while still mounting using the frame's stock hardware.
Internal component pocket for video transmitter, and tailored body lines for the 20x20 flight stack, ensuring maximum aerodynamic coverage and clean spacing of electronics within the canopy itself.
Onboard, internally wired SUNON Blower fan with a long-life industrial ball bearing, and accompanying Tiny's Pico Rainbow RGB LEDs (digitally addressable as a three node string).
Notice
THIS KIT ASSUMES THE USE OF ZIPTIE/ARM MOUNTED RADIO SIGNAL RECEIVER ANTENNAE, AND LIGHTWEIGHT CIRCULAR POLARIZED OR LINEAR VIDEO TRANSMISSION ANTENNAE.
THIS CANOPY ENSURES TURTLE MODE ONLY ON ASTROTURF OR OTHER ARITIFICAL TURF ENVIRONMENTS, DUE TO GEOMETRIC REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ELONGATED RACING FRAME.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN CANOPY MOUNTING SCREWS AS THE NEUTRON-R HAS RECESSED HOLES IN THE LOCK-UP PLATE THAT MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE CANOPY, USE MINIMAL TORQUE TO SECURE
Interfacing
The red wire from the canopy goes to 5V on the flight controller, the black wire from the canopy goes to ground on the flight controller, and the yellow wire from the canopy goes to the LED signal output on the flight controller; the included RunCam Racer Nano should be wired according to its digital manual, using the provided JST pigtail.
Canopy mounts using the frame's stock hardware. Apply medium strength threadlocker to camera screws, but DO NOT apply any threadlocker to canopy mounting screws.
Fitment
Only guaranteed to fit the included RunCam Racer Nano camera, which features an extremely low profile and mass, state of the art gesture control, and optical performance equal to that of the RunCam Racer 2.
